9 Weeks Pregnant

22-3

I think I have a start of a “bump”.  But it could be the same situation as last week and be nothing but a gas baby.

How far along: 9 weeks.

How big is baby: 1 inch.  The size of a green olive!

Total weight gain: None since the doctors last week (which was gas weight anyway), but I should probably get on the scale and see how constipated I am this week. Ekkkk.

Maternity Clothes: Not yet.  Although, I’ve got the itch to head to Target and look around (aka buy something).  I’m still living in my PJ’s daily.  Being a housewife and looking for a job at the moment.  I will need to venture out and find myself some comfy scrubs when I do find a job, which will be exciting.

Sleep:  Still few and far between.  I had two nights where I slept great (after I was relieved from the constipation) where I only woke up 2-3 times to pee. Now, I’m constipated again, but it’s worse this time and I’m peeing every hour at night and during the day again.

Best moment of the week:  Making it to another week pregnant and reading that my random hunger pangs just may be the babe moving around in there.  Pretty cool.

Food Cravings: I still can only eat what sounds good.  But I have started to eat a little bit better (like I was used to before pregnancy). I’ve been eating half bagels (GF) with cream cheese and strawberries, pickles and salad, and strawberry banana smoothies.

Food Aversions: Usually whatever I was craving last week.

Symptoms:  My skin. I’m exhausted 24/7!  I have ZERO energy and desire to go/do anything.  I feel like someone sucked the life out of me.  Oh wait.  There IS someone sucking the life out of me. I NEED some energy because I really would love to go to the gym.  I did realize that my anxiety has been absolutely gone since being pregnant and my OCD is nowhere to be found.  Oddly, someone once told me “once you get pregnant, you better learn to live with a mess.”  Well, it’s true.  I have.  I have a hard time filling the dishwasher and pressing the start button.  Luckily, my husband is sweet enough to contribute in places where I’m lacking lately and totally understands my lack of organization.

Mood:  Calm, tired and ready to find out if BS is a girl or a boy.

Movement: Nada, besides gas, bloating and I feel like a blimp.  The twins are starting to hurt less as I’m approaching the second trimester, which gives me hope that my energy will kindly come back into my life.  BS is moving around like crazy, but I don’t feel anything yet.

What I’m looking forward to:  The second trimester. Halloween and Christmas.  I’m already pinning stuff on Pinterest and setting out the Halloween decorations.

What I miss: Sleeping comfortably, my energy, my mom, brother and my sister.

  1. I love you and just look at you, you are the picture of motherhood. I swear i see a bump. Keep BS safe and stress free for gma.

    1. There IS a bump…BUT it’s NOT a baby bump. My tummy is completely flat this morning (last week I was constipated). I stepped on the scale and I’ve only gained 2 lbs. since Michigan. I don’t know if I’ll get a bump too fast. Maybe soon. 😉 I love you too. I’m stress free and loving life.

  2. Look at the bump!!! I think its baby BS starting to show!!!! You look great…”excuse me bitches…MILF coming through!!!” …lol!!!! Miss you too!! and I cant wait until you find out what it is..then shopping begins!! 🙂 Love you ❤

    1. Haha, I think it’s a bump…but I’m so constipated, I haven’t been able to go in days. It’s rough. I’m in a lot of pain when I sit or make sudden movements. Something is in there and it’s gotta come out! HAHA!

    2. Thanks, too, btw, for saying I look great. I feel a little not-so-pretty lately (acne). I’m trying to remind myself that it’s all worth it, and soon enough I’ll have my body back but right now it’s not mine. haha

    3. Well, as I suspected…no bump yet. I’m officially relieved from what “was” in there. Ekkkk…4 more lbs of poo. Yuck! But I think I’ve got the regime down now on how to control it from not happening again. 🙂
